Cozero is a Berlin-based ClimateTech startup that transforms every company into a low-emission business. Our SaaS platform offers a fully digital end-to-end Carbon Action Platform (CAP) to track, forecast, and manage corporate emission data and most effectively match them to low-emission solutions on the market to reduce their carbon footprint. Tasks

  • Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Build statistical and machine learning models that generate insights from a multitude of datasets from client data and external sustainability databases
  • Proactively develop ideas how to create more value out of our data as well as external data for our clients
  • Write professional, production ready code and deploy your projects properly
Requirements

You should excel in:
  • Programming skills in the area of data science, ideally in Python but strong skills in other programming languages are also welcome
  • Bringing data science projects to production
  • Experience in MLOps is a plus
  • Statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling techniques
  • Skills in analyzing data with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Translating business requirements into data science projects
Additional:
  • Proven working experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
  • Ideally, experience working with climate data and carbon emission reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English
